I am Yee Mon Oo, Advocacy and Campaign Coordinator for Oxfam in Myanmar. I focus on influencing work around gender justice and fighting inequality.
I will be able to provide support on training and influencing for gender-responsive budgeting and public services to reinforce socially accountable government, conducting research and policy analysis from gender and inequality lens, support on planning innovative and creative approach for shifting people’s attitudes and behaviors through public campaigns particularly on gender and inequality, using digital platforms for making changes, support on strategizing for advocacy and communications, mainstreaming gender in influencing work and initiating fighting inequality campaign at the country level.

I am also working on shifting the public’s perception towards women leaders through a public campaign that combined both online and offline tactics for increasing women’s political leadership in collaboration with other women’s rights organisations and networks.
