In Ghana, the country team decided to introduce a focus on health and education into their advocacy work in order to achieve greater equality in those sectors. In this effort, the Ghana team received support from advisers through the Fair-Even it Up Support Mechanism to develop the country inequality report and identify key advocacy strategies.

A workshop focusing on the dissemination of the report was held with the help of FESM advisors. The report has been successfully launched and the team is engaging with the government on an ongoing basis.

Along the way, the people that were involved in the process remain in contact with the Ghana team to ensure that there is follow up to the workshop and that the local team has sufficient and adequate support.
